...and while Jeff and I are awed by the amazing monuments and memorials, the girls get really jazzed about the sighting of a squirrel or this family of ducks...go figure...

We've arrived

Which one is Dum-Dum???????

Well, we finally arrived. It took us a while to get online, but today we went to the National Museum of Natural History. We also walked around the Mall, the Capitol Building, and the Sculpture Garden which is part of the National Gallery of Art. Yesterday we went to the Library of Congress. It was very impressive.

the dogs are staying at Greyt Escapes- a greyhound 'resort' for our dogs--- I don't think they'll miss us very much....but they did say goodbye as we were leaving...
